The Appeals Minefield

The appeals process is a rigged game that very rarely favours the Appellant.

An appeal assumes this about you:

  • You accept there is a contract.
  • You agree that you have contravened the contract in some way.
  • You are therefore begging for leniency.

Appealing means that you are begging extortionists for leniency, good luck with that!

The main rule here is do not let yourself be intimidated by their pseudo-legal scary letters, and never use their appeals process.

It is highly unlikely that they will respond with a proper Bill or Invoice in accordance with the Bills of Exchange Act 1882, but they may do if you have unwittingly contracted with them.

Beware and seek further advice if you do receive an invoice.
